Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us to trust God even when life does not go according to our plans. There are moments when we feel confused, disappointed, or unsure of what decision to make. We may want immediate answers, but this verse teaches us that we do not have to understand everything before we choose to trust God.
Relying only on our own wisdom can sometimes lead us to worry, overthink, or make decisions based only on fear. God sees what we cannot see. He knows what is ahead, what is best for us, and what lessons we need along the way. Trusting Him means surrendering our plans, expectations, and concerns while believing that His wisdom is greater than our own.
In daily life, we can apply this verse by praying before making important decisions, asking God for guidance, and being willing to follow His direction even when it is different from what we expected. We can also learn to pause when we feel anxious, seek wise counsel, and avoid rushing into choices simply because we want quick results.
This verse does not promise that every road will be easy. It reminds us that God will guide us when we acknowledge Him and place our confidence in Him. Even when the next step is uncertain, we can continue moving forward in faith.
When the road ahead is unclear, we do not need to panic or lose hope. God is faithful, His wisdom is dependable, and His direction is trustworthy. As we continue to seek Him, we can walk with confidence, knowing that He is able to lead us step by step toward the path He has prepared for us.
